What’s new and what’s leaving the area:
🎉 Mr Villas, the beloved restaurant down The Knap is reopening today!
🍕 Hatch Bakery is a new wood-fire pizza shop located 112 Barry Road, open Thurs-Sun, 5pm-10pm for pickup and delivery.
🍹 Another new restaurant is Truth above 1988 in Sully serving Indian small plates and drinks. Open Mon, Wed, Thurs & Sun, 5pm-11pm.
🥪 Lunch at Mine has a new and bigger venue. Still on Thompson Street but across the road.
Morio Lounge opening over the Island has been pushed back to beginning of June.
❌ Potential closures include Brewers Fayre and Walston Castle both part of the Whitbread company closing/rebranding the Beefeater and Brewers Fayre restaurants around the UK. No dates have been announced.
